Led by a leadership team that has been together for over 10 years, you will join a proven team, culture, and strategy to drive innovation within the IT outsourcing industry while developing your skillset with opportunities for internal growth.
About the Role
Slipstream is seeking a strategic, AI-forward leader to build and run our internal Project Management Office. This is a founding leadership role — you will define quality standards, delivery frameworks, and embed AI-powered tooling across every project lifecycle. Critically, you will drive cross-PM alignment and unified client engagement strategy for all accounts where multiple Slipstream project managers operate., eliminating silos and creating one coordinated Slipstream presence at every client.
You will operate at the intersection of operations, technology, and client delivery excellence, ensuring our internal execution matches the quality we deliver externally.

• Remote-first with periodic on-site collaboration
• Manages and mentors project management resources both internally and client facing
• PMO leadership position

• Internal PMO function
• ???????Project quality & governance frameworks
• Cross-PM alignment at shared clients
• AI tooling strategy for delivery operations
Core Responsibilities
PMO Foundation & Governance
- Establish and continuously improve Slipstream's internal PMO — policies, templates, governance cadences, escalation paths, operating model with customers and technology platforms.
- Define and enforce project quality standards across all client-facing and internal initiatives in regulated Life Sciences environments
- Define and manage the project portfolio visibility — dashboards, health reporting, resource utilization, and executive-level status communication
- Lead post-project reviews, lessons-learned processes, and quality audits to drive continuous improvement
- Manage risk registers and issue logs across the portfolio; escalate blockers to leadership proactively
- Drive adherence to compliance and documentation requirements aligned with Life Sciences regulatory expectations (e.g., GxP, CSV/CSA awareness)
- Define a clear financial model for pricing and executing PMO work across all engagement types
Cross-PM Alignment at Shared Clients
This is a priority mandate. Slipstream frequently has multiple project managers engaged at the same client organization across different workstreams. Fragmented communication and siloed delivery create risk to client relationships and Slipstream's reputation as a strategic partner. You will:
- Identify all accounts where two or more Slipstream PMs are active and establish a formal coordination model for each
- Design and enforce a shared-client operating rhythm — standing syncs, unified status reporting, escalation alignment, and a single coordinated Slipstream voice to the client
- Act as the internal broker when PMs at the same client have competing priorities, resource conflicts, or misaligned client messaging
- Build a cross-PM communication framework that surfaces dependencies, shared risks, and relationship intelligence across workstreams
- Ensure that account-level relationship owners (Practice Lead and Account Executives) are always informed and aligned with all active PM activities at their accounts
- Create and maintain a living client engagement map showing Slipstream's full footprint at each client — workstreams, PMs, stakeholders, timelines, and risks
- Establish escalation protocols so client-facing issues at one workstream are visible and can be managed holistically — not in isolation
People Leadership
- Mentor, and develop project managers and delivery analysts across Solution areas
- Partner with engagement leads and practice heads to ensure consistent project kickoffs, milestones, and closures
- Foster a collaborative PM culture that values information sharing, cross-workstream awareness, and collective accountability for client success
